BROADWAY PROJECT: June - Venus in Fur TONY EDITION

The Tony Awards were last night!!

It was a very exciting night! And my friend Winnie, Production Stage Manager of Venus in Fur (nominated for Best Play), ordered cookies for her Tony Party.

Dropping off the cookies to Winnie backstage at the Lyceum

It was fun to revisit the boots and make some new designs for their Tony celebration.

AND Nina Arianda, who plays Vanda in the play, won the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Play!

for his role as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher.

ONCE won EIGHT Tonys including BEST MUSICAL!!

And I'll take a moment to shamelessly brag. I got to go to their Tony Party!!!

And meet the Best Leading Actor in a Musical himself.

With Tony Winner Steve Kazee, who plays Guy in Once

And I held a Tony!!

With my friend Lisa, who is the Child Wrangler for Once.

It was an incredible night that left me overjoyed and so thankful to be a part of this amazing community!

And I didn't even know about any of it, until I came across it and FREAKED OUT!
This was the hope when I began the Broadway Project, and it's so exciting to see things happening!!
