I am currently in week three of rehearsals as the Production Assistant for Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming production of An Enemy of the People. Beginning previews on Broadway on September 4, this is a new version of Henrik Ibsen's play adapted by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Doug Hughes, and starring Boyd Gaines and Richard Thomas (pictured above) as two brothers, the doctor and mayor of a small Norwegian town, who butt heads over an issue that affects the entire community.
We had our first run through today! It's such a timely play and we have such a talented cast. I can't wait until we can get into the theater and start working with the set and costumes. It's gonna be gooood!
